At MM Shah & MV Shah Academy, learning is more than completing lessons and reading textbooks. It is a journey of curiosity, investigation, discovery and reflection.
An important part of this journey within the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is the use of Entry and Exit Points. These experiences help learners connect with new topics, explore ideas and demonstrate what they have learned.
Starting with curiosity
Every learning journey begins with an Entry Point. This introduces learners to a new unit in an engaging and memorable way, encouraging them to ask questions, share what they already know and become curious about what lies ahead.
Through interactive activities, hands-on exploration and collaborative experiences, learners are encouraged to investigate the theme and make connections with their everyday lives.
Learning through exploration
After the introduction, learners continue exploring the unit through research, classroom activities, discussions and practical tasks. They record information, share ideas and reflect on their discoveries.
This process encourages learners to take an active role in their education rather than simply receiving information. They develop important skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking and independent learning.
Celebrating learning through Exit Points
The journey culminates in an Exit Point, where learners showcase their understanding and celebrate their progress.
This may take the form of presentations, performances, projects or exhibitions. These activities provide opportunities for learners to share their work with classmates, teachers and parents while reflecting on how much they have learned.
Entry and Exit Points make learning meaningful by connecting knowledge with experience. They encourage learners to value not only the final outcome but also the process of discovery that takes them there.
At MM Shah & MV Shah Academy, we continue to create learning experiences that inspire curiosity, encourage participation and help every learner discover the joy of learning.
